That’s where this article comes in. I researched countless free Arabic learning tools to find the best one. Best of all, there’s something for every level, whether you’re just learning how to say hello in Arabic or ready to read entire articles in Arabic.

Audio is a great way to learn Arabic. You can take it with you wherever you go, like when you’re traveling or when you run out of the corner store. You can also listen while doing housework.
Chinese For Beginners
In this list, I have selected Arabic podcasts and audios that provide a step-by-step Arabic lesson or that teach Arabic as it is spoken in the real world.
It’s free to sign up and there’s an impressive amount of Arabic content available at every level, from complete beginners to advanced. You get a free one-week trial to try out lessons at all skill levels. Then you have to pay for more advanced lessons and premium materials, but it’s worth it.
Language Transfer is a popular Arabic language course designed for intensive learning. It is similar to the Michel Thomas method.
You can listen to radio from many Arabic speaking countries on TuneIn. Test a few stations based on the dialect you want to learn, see what catches your eye.

Forvo is a great place to listen to Arabic spoken by a native speaker. It has a large database and is a good pronunciation reference.
YouTube is an excellent place to learn Arabic online. Video has the advantage of allowing you to see facial expressions, body language and other non-verbal aspects of the Arabic language.
In addition to free podcast lessons, ArabicPod101 also has an excellent YouTube channel with hours of free content.
In the series Easy Arabic, the hosts go to the streets of Cairo, Egypt and interview the people they meet there.

It’s a good way to hear people speak real Arabic. You will learn colloquial Arabic expressions and improve your listening comprehension.
Learn Arabic’s little cartoons by Zakaria are a great way to learn the language. The channel is aimed at children, but is perfect for any beginner.
If you are interested in learning the Lebanese Arabic dialect, the Learn Lebanese Arabic channel with Hiba Najem will be of particular interest. There are now more than 75 lessons.

Choose from over 54 free courses in different dialects on Live Lingua. This is a database of Peace Corps and FSI textbooks and audio materials.
Madinah Arabic has two free online courses for Arabic learners. One course is for those who haven’t read the script yet, and another for those who can.
Apps are a convenient way to learn a new language, especially for those who like to learn on the go.
Memrise and Anki are flashcard systems that you can use to create your own Arabic vocabulary deck. You can also download decks already created by other users.
Arabic Grammar Course
Duolingo is a popular language learning app that introduces you to both Arabic vocabulary and grammar. It’s a gamified platform, so it’s fun to learn and easy to track your daily activities.
With the free version of the app, you only get five minutes of study time per day. But you can do a lot in those five minutes.
MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) offer not only courses in Arabic but also courses in other subjects.
If you want to use Arabic to learn more about something you’re passionate about, taking an online Arabic course can be a useful way to do two things at the same time.
New Adult Conversational Arabic
Like Coursera, EdX also offers courses where Arabic is the language of instruction. They currently only have one human rights course, but there is always the possibility of adding more courses in the future.
Arab vloggers cover everything from comedy to fashion and food, so you’re sure to find a personality on YouTube who covers a topic that interests you.

LingQ is a popular online learning system that helps you acquire new vocabulary through its reading interface. It’s free to sign up, but if you want to use it long-term, you’ll need to choose a paid plan.
